The Priory, Little Wymondley Wedding Photography: when energy is electric…

When I arrived Hotel Cromwell on that very hot September morning, and was greeted with laughter, champagne and a hug, I knew I was in for a treat. Don’t get me wrong, I gratefully declined the champagne… I am there to work, after all! But the rest of the day really didn’t disappoint. Anna is a complete human radiator through and through… and that warmth was so contagious… bit of an unfortunate analogy as that day truly was one of 2023’s hottest days… but I stand by my description of her and her bridal party… electric energy.

This was a multi-location wedding with bridal prep at the hotel, then a ceremony at a local church and then the reception at the very scenic wedding venue The Priory. Now, I am not a big fan of doing the whole “and this venue was so lovely” malarkey in the hope of being in turn advertised by the venue itself… but I really was wowed by this place. Not necessarily by the surroundings… so many wedding venues are indeed beautiful, I was actually really impressed by the staff. And for me that’s a real plus on a working day. The staff treated me like one of the guests. They made sure I was watered and fed throughout and regularly asked me if I needed anything. Now if that is how they treat suppliers, imagine how they treat the actual stars of the show?

Anyway, enough rambling… here are the pictures from my day with Anna, Nathan and their families and guests. It may have been 32 degrees but that didn’t stop any of us having a pretty awesome time.
