I sometimes catch parents smelling their kids…

Sounds damn weird, right? Bear with me…

In every single session I do, every single one, there will be a moment when a parent smells their child’s head/hair etc. Every time. It’s one of my favourite moments to observe. I don’t always manage to capture this moment obviously but it deffo is one of my faves. I will at some point try to do a collection of all of the ones I have captured from all my families... when I have a mo...
Until then, here is a dad with his daughter having a split milli-second moment of “I love you so much, so so so so so much”.

I am sure there are a million smells from you kids you’d often rather not smell, right… but that tiny moment, when they are sitting on your lap, and you just connect at that totally visceral level with your baby. A moment that makes all the other tricky ones worthwhile?
